I’m grateful for my time in the MSSP program, which provided me with a strong foundation for my career. After completing the program in 2016, I joined the HIV\/HCV Outcome Research Team at Boston Medical Center as a statistical analyst. I worked there for three years before pursuing a PhD in Biostatistics at Boston University. I continued working part-time at Boston Medical Center throughout my studies.<\/p>\n

I graduated with my PhD in August 2023 and joined the Biostatistics department at Mass General Hospital as a biostatistical faculty member in September. My time in the MSSP program gave me a solid perspective on being a statistician in biomedical research, and inspired me to explore the field further. I’m grateful for the practicum projects, which taught me how to apply statistical concepts to real-world problems.<\/p>\n

I was one of the first students in the MSSP program, and I’m glad to see that it has evolved over the years while still maintaining its focus on practical, hands-on learning.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
