In order to ensure that all of our students are prepared to succeed, MSSP coursework generally requires a\u00a0solid foundation in the following areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Calculus and core statistics\u00a0(either through previous coursework or equivalent work experience)<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with computing (e.g., a one-semester programming course, experience in R, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to probability and linear algebra is beneficial<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a class=\"button-secondary\" href=\"http:\/\/mycas.bu.edu\/msstatisticalpractice\/inquiryform\">REQUEST INFO<\/a><\/p>\n<p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"bu_collapsible_container \" aria-live=\"polite\" data-customize-animation=\"false\"><h5 class=\"bu_collapsible\" aria-expanded=\"false\"tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">Application Requirements<\/h5><div class=\"bu_collapsible_section\" style=\"display: none;\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Transcripts<\/li>\n<li>Two (2) letters of recommendation are required. While we recommend the following English language proficiency scores to remain competitive, applicants with lower scores will be considered as part of our comprehensive evaluation of the full application.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Accepted standardized tests include\u00a0Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), TOEFL<\/span><span>\u00a0iBT Home Edition,\u00a0International English Language Testing System (IELTS), Cambridge English Qualifications, and Duolingo.
