Faculty and students involved in STEM programs across the university may download software for free to help with their course work and research.<\/p>\n<p>The three software applications requested at MET and available through Azure Dev Tools for Teaching are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"\/metit\/services\/software\/ms-project\/\">Microsoft Project<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/metit\/services\/software\/ms-visio\/\">Microsoft Visio<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/metit\/services\/software\/windows\/\">Microsoft Windows<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"color: red\">NOTE:<\/strong> All software available through Azure Dev Tools for Teaching are for Windows systems <em>only<\/em>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"center-children\">\n<div class=\"grid col-2 colors\">\n<div class=\"hovereffect\" style=\"background-color: #707070\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/tech\/services\/cccs\/desktop\/distribution\/microsoft\/microsoft-azure-dev-tools-for-teaching\/access-azure-dev-for-teaching\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span>Access Storefront<\/span><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"hovereffect\" style=\"background-color: #F0F0F0\"><a href=\"\/metit\/services\/software\/azure-dev-tools\/\"><span>Instructions<\/span><\/a><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<hr\/>\n<ol>\n<li>Click the <strong>Access Storefront<\/strong> button at the top of this page.<\/li>\n<li>Enter your BU email in the text box, check <strong>Yes I agree<\/strong> and then click <strong>Submit<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<p>        <img src=\"\/metit\/files\/2024\/09\/Dev_Tools_Verification.png\"><\/p>\n<li>Click the blue <strong>Sign In<\/strong> in button on the next page.<\/li>\n<li>Enter your BU email address in the text field, then click <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Sign in to the BU system with your BU email and password.<\/li>\n<li>On the Azure Dashboard page, go to the left-hand navigation and click <strong>Learning Resources &gt; Software<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<p>        <img src=\"\/metit\/files\/2024\/09\/Dev_Tools_Sidebar_Nav.png\"><\/p>\n<li>In the search bar directly above the software list, search for the software you wish.<\/li>\n<p>        <img src=\"\/metit\/files\/2024\/09\/Dev_Tools_Search.png\"><\/p>\n<li>Click on the software you want to open the dialog box on the right hand side of the window.<\/li>\n<li>Click on <strong>Download<\/strong> at the bottom of the dialog box to acquire the installation file.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the <strong>View Key<\/strong> button in the dialog box and record your software key in a safe place.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Once you have retrieved the installation file and software key, you may perform the install.
