This software is essential to access several network-restricted resources when you are off campus.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<h4>Support Policy<\/h4>\n<p>MET IT is responsible for the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Software installation assistance on BU-provisioned devices<\/li>\n<li>Software guidance and troubleshooting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr\/>\n<h4>Personal Installation<\/h4>\n<p>Faculty, staff and students may install the CISCO AnyConnect software on their personal hardware by following the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/tech\/services\/cccs\/remote\/vpn\/use\/\">instructions provided by BU IS&#038;T<\/a>. The software is available on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mac OS X (10.12 and higher)<\/li>\n<li>Windows<\/li>\n<li>iOS Device (iPhone, iPad)<\/li>\n<li>Android Device (4.0 and above)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr\/>\n<h4>Connecting to VPN<\/h4>\n<p>Once the CISCO AnyConnect client is installed and configured, you may connect to the VPN in one of two ways:<\/p>\n<dl>\n<dt><strong>Standard VPN<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>Open CISCO AnyConnect, enter <strong>vpn.bu.edu<\/strong> in the URL field, then click <strong>Connect<\/strong>.<\/dd>\n<p><\/p>\n<dt><strong>Two-Factor Authentication VPN<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>Open CISCO AnyConnect, enter <strong>vpn.bu.edu\/2FA<\/strong> in the URL field, then click <strong>Connect<\/strong>.
