This application can be used via your desktop (<em>recommended<\/em>) or through your web browser.<\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<h4>Support Policy<\/h4>\n<p>MET IT is responsible for the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Installation of software on BU-provisioned machines<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshooting login and connection issues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr\/>\n<h4>Resources<\/h4>\n<div class=\"center-children\">\n<div class=\"grid col-4 colors\">\n<div class=\"hovereffect\" style=\"background-color: #707070;\"><a href=\"\/metit\/services\/software\/citrix\/2fa\/\"><span>2FA Token Setup<\/span><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"hovereffect\" style=\"background-color: #707070;\"><a href=\"\/metit\/services\/software\/citrix\/connect-error\/\"><span>Fix Connection Error<\/span><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"hovereffect\" style=\"background-color: #707070;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.citrix.com\/downloads\/workspace-app\/mac\/workspace-app-for-mac-latest.html\"><span>Installer (Mac)<\/span><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"hovereffect\" style=\"background-color: #707070;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.citrix.com\/downloads\/workspace-app\/windows\/workspace-app-for-windows-latest.html\"><span>Installer (Windows)<\/span><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"hovereffect\" style=\"background-color: #707070;\"><a href=\"\/metit\/services\/ed-tech\/labs\/remote-apps\/\"><span>Remote Apps<\/span><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"hovereffect\" style=\"background-color: #707070;\"><a href=\"\/metit\/services\/software\/citrix\/browser-default\/\"><span>Set Web Browser as Default<\/span><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"hovereffect\" style=\"background-color: #707070;\"><a href=\"\/metit\/services\/ed-tech\/labs\/virtual-labs\/\"><span>Virtual Labs<\/span><\/a><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<hr\/>\n<h4>Connection Instructions<\/h4>\n<dl>\n<dt><strong>Citrix Workspace via Desktop (<em>Recommended<\/em>)<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>\n<ol>\n<li>Install the Citrix Workspace App from the appropriate links in the Resource section.<\/li>\n<li>Open the App and select &#8220;Add Account&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>Enter <strong>metvlab.cloud.com<\/strong> in the dialog box, then click <strong>Continue<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Set up your <a href=\"\/metit\/services\/software\/citrix\/2fa\/\">two-factor authentication (2FA)<\/a>, which is <em>separate<\/em> from the 2FA used for other BU resources.<\/li>\n<li>Login with your BU email (include @bu.edu), BU password, and the 2FA token you created in Step 4.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/dd>\n<dt><strong>Citrix Workspace via Web Browser<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>\n<ol>\n<li>In any web browser, go to <a href=\"http:\/\/metvlab.cloud.com\/\">metvlab.cloud.com<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Set up your <a href=\"\/metit\/services\/software\/citrix\/2fa\/\">two-factor authentication (2FA)<\/a>, which is <em>separate<\/em> from the 2FA used for other BU resources.<\/li>\n<li>Login with your BU email (include @bu.edu), BU password, and the 2FA token you created in Step 2.<\/li>\n<li>If prompted to select on how you would like to proceed, click on <strong>Use Web Browser<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/dl>\n<p>Once you have logged in, you should be able to view all services you have been granted access to.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Open VLab:<\/em> Click on <strong>MET-VLAB<\/strong> to access the Virtual Lab.<\/li>\n<li><em>Course-Specific VLabs:<\/em> Click on <strong>&lt;CourseNumber&gt;-VLAB<\/strong> to access the specialized Virtual Lab, where &lt;CourseNumber&gt; is your course number.<\/li>\n<li><em>Remote Apps:<\/em> Click on Remote App you have been granted access to.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MET students and faculty looking to access the Virtual Labs or the Remote Apps will use the Citrix Workspace application to connect to these services.
