Solutions to this issue can differ depending on the environment.<\/p>\n<dl>\n<dt><strong>MET IT Teaching Studios<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>\n<p>As audio and video for MET IT Teaching Studios is built into the room infrastructure, instructors and students who are in-person should not &#8220;Join Audio&#8221; when entering the Zoom meeting.<\/p>\n<p><p>If a user accidentally joins the audio, they can turn this off by doing the following:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Click on the <strong>arrow icon<\/strong> in the corner of the &#8220;Audio&#8221; button of the menu bar.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Leave computer audio<\/strong> to disconnect your speakers and microphone.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/dd>\n<dt><strong>Additional Solutions<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>\n<p>If you encounter this issue in other circumstances, consider the following solutions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ask attendees to keep their microphones muted when they are not speaking.<\/li>\n<li>Use headphones or a conference headset\/speaker to avoid audio feedback.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/support.zoom.com\/hc\/en\/article?id=zm_kb&#038;sysparm_article=KB0066716\">Mute all<\/a> attendees through the &#8220;Participants&#8221; window if a source can&#8217;t be identified easily.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Loud Echo\/Feedback When Using Zoom In My Classroom This issue occurs when audio from an attendee&#8217;s speakers is picked up by an attendee&#8217;s microphone, causing a feedback loop.
