More than four decades on, it remains at the cutting edge of innovation and information delivery \u2014 with fast access to news, data, unique insight, and trading tools helping leading decision-makers turn knowledge into action.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the Bloomberg for Education Program, MET faculty and students have access to Bloomberg Terminals on campus that provide an incomparable, experiential learning opportunity to gain the tangible skills for a successful career in finance.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Support Policy<\/h4>\n<p>MET IT is responsible for the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Computer support and troubleshooting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>MET IT is not responsible for the use or troubleshooting of the Bloomberg Terminal product. Please refer to the the Help documentation for support.<\/p>\n<dl>\n<dt><strong>Lab Availability<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Location:<\/em> 1010 Commonwealth Avenue, First Floor, West Suite, Room 181<\/li>\n<li><em>Hours of Operation:<\/em>\n<ul>\n<li>Monday &#8211; Friday: 9:30 AM to 8:30 PM<\/li>\n<li>Saturday: 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/dd>\n<dt><strong>Booking Policy<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>\n<ul>\n<li>The Lab has four Bloomberg Terminals available for use that <em>must be reserved<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Students can reserve the terminal in 30-minute intervals for up to 2 hours per session.<\/li>\n<li>Please cancel your reservation if you can&#8217;t make it so that other students can use the lab.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Resources<\/h4>\n<div class=\"center-children\">\n<div class=\"grid col-2 colors\">\n<div class=\"hovereffect\" style=\"background-color: #707070;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/calendly.com\/metbloomberglab\"><span>Booking Page<\/span><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"hovereffect\" style=\"background-color: #707070;\"><a href=\"\/metit\/services\/ed-tech\/labs\/bloomberg\/help\"><span>Help<\/span><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Create an Account<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li>Double-click the <strong>Bloomberg<\/strong> icon on the desktop.<\/li>\n<li>Once the software opens, press the <strong style=\"background-color: #008000; color: #ffffff;\">Enter\/GO<\/strong> key to bring up the login screen.<\/li>\n<li>Select the <strong>Create a New Login<\/strong> option at the bottom of the login screen.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img src=\"\/metit\/files\/2023\/10\/Bloomberg_Terminal_Login-e1698178213997.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Fill in your user information as follows:\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;Company Email&#8221; field = BU email address<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Mobile Phone&#8221; and &#8220;Company Phone&#8221; fields = personal cell phone number<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Select the method of receiving the verification code (<strong>SMS<\/strong> strongly recommended).<\/li>\n<li>After receiving the verification code, enter it in the appropriate field, press the <strong style=\"background-color: #008000; color: #ffffff;\">Enter\/GO<\/strong>, and then click <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Create your personal password, then click <strong>Click here to return to the login screen<\/strong>.\n<ol><\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Bloomberg Terminal revolutionized an industry by bringing transparency to financial markets.
