We provides support for all virtual meetings for MET College. We support Zoom and TEAMS services. Compare Zoom and Microsoft Teams options

ZOOM – every department at MET has a pre-configured Zoom Meeting Room

• You do not need any account or login credentials to use Zoom Dept Meetings as a Guest
• You will need your BU login name and password to use Zoom Dept Meetings as a Host
• Zoom security settings

MS TEAMS – a communication platform that combines persistent workplace chat, video meetings, file sharing, and application integration. Every department at MET has a pre-configured Microsoft TEAMS team.

• Integrated with departmental SharePoint site
• Integrated with your existing Outlook applications and calendar
• Join meetings and collaborate from Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS devices
• Share your desktop, applications, or a whiteboard during meetings
• Automatically record and upload video, audio, and shared content from meetings to Microsoft Stream

Toll-Free Teleconference Bridges – MET IT supports seven teleconference lines. With a dedicated conference bridge, you will be provided with a toll-free number for participants to dial into the conference call as well as a participant pass code. Please contact metit@bu.edu to request a line for your department.
