He also did a professional internship through MET International\u2019s Advanced Graduate Certificate program. Additionally, I had the opportunity to team up with people from a variety of countries, which allowed me to work with people from different cultures. He discovered his love for digital marketing through the <em>Innovative Marketing Techniques<\/em> course. \u201cAfter that class,\u201d he says, \u201cI realized I wanted to focus on digital marketing as I move forward in my career.\u201d However, his favorite class was <em>The Innovation Process: Developing New Products and Services<\/em>. \u201cThe structure of that course not only provided plentiful theoretical knowledge, but also ample case studies for us to learn from,\u201d he remembers. \u201cI spared no effort studying for that class. The coursework was astonishing; the weekly readings often took 15 hours to complete! But I know they will help me to succeed in this field.\u201d In fact, one of his fondest memories of his time at BU was studying for the final for three days in a row with a group of friends, resulting in high marks for all of them.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment5626\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment5626\" style=\"width: 260px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/metinternational\/files\/2019\/05\/Henry-Pan_conference-for-Language-Connections-399x300.png\" alt=\"Pan did an internship at Language Connections last summer.\" width=\"250\" height=\"188\" class=\"wp-image-5626\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/metinternational\/files\/2019\/05\/Henry-Pan_conference-for-Language-Connections-399x300.png 399w, https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/metinternational\/files\/2019\/05\/Henry-Pan_conference-for-Language-Connections-768x577.png 768w, https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/metinternational\/files\/2019\/05\/Henry-Pan_conference-for-Language-Connections-1024x769.png 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment5626\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Pan did an internship at Language Connections last summer.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Pan\u2019s internship at <span style=\"color: #cc0000;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.languageconnections.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" style=\"color: #cc0000;\">Language Connections<\/a><\/span>, a Boston-based translation and interpretation provider, was also significant. \u201cIt helped me understand how to better integrate SEO and SEM into online marketing campaigns,\u201d he explains. \u201cOptimizing website traffic with Google Keyword Planner and Google Analytics allowed me to gain firsthand experience on the benefits of SEO.\u201d He continues, \u201cApart from working on SEO and SEM, I managed more than 32,000 accounts on Salesforce &amp; XTRF and launched email remarketing campaigns through Constant Contact and Vertical Response.
