His focus is on the analysis and improvement of operations and supply chains for both products and services. He has held professional positions in the U.S. Department of Defense, RCA David Sarnoff Research Center, and LEGO A\/S (in Billund, Denmark). He has also consulted for many well-known consumer product, healthcare, and manufacturing companies. Dr. Maleyeff was previously a tenured associate professor of industrial engineering at Western New England University and he was associate dean for academic affairs and professor of practice at the Hartford Campus of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He has taught courses in several international locations, including Denmark, Italy, and China. At BU\u2019s Metropolitan College, he is the academic coordinator for Enterprise Risk Management programs and teaches courses in business process management, quality management, supply chain management, and risk analytics.<\/p>\n<p>Maleyeff is the author of <em>Service Science: The Analysis and Improvement of Business Processes<\/em> (Routledge imprint of Taylor &amp; Francis, 2020). He also authored a definitive guide to applying process improvement methods in government (<em>Improving Service Delivery in Government with Lean Six Sigma<\/em>, IBM Center for The Business of Government). Maleyeff has presented his research at numerous conferences and has published extensively in journals such as <em>International Journal of Business Intelligence and Data Mining<\/em>, <em>Journal of Service Science and Management<\/em>, <em>Health Informatics Journal<\/em>, <em>INFORMS Transactions on Education<\/em>, <em>Journal of Healthcare Risk Management<\/em>, <em>Quality Engineering<\/em>, <em>International Journal of Educational Management<\/em>, and <em>Journal of Management in Engineering<\/em>, among others.
