To quote the About Us page, it\u2019s \u201ca blog where passionate health communicators across the United States come to connect and collaborate online.\u201d HealthComU was founded in November 2013 by five former classmates from MET\u2019s online <a href=\"http:\/\/healthcommunication.bu.edu\/\">Health Communication master\u2019s program<\/a>: Lisa Blubaugh (MET\u201814), Julie Markum Gough (MET\u201813), Kristin Neubauer (MET\u201813), Payal Patel (MET\u201814), and Christine Senke (currently attending).
