Undergraduate Students:<\/strong> This form must be completed two semesters before<\/strong> you intend to complete your degree requirements<\/em><\/p>\n

Graduate Students:<\/strong> This form must be completed after you have registered for the final class\/semester in your program.<\/em><\/p>\n

Enter your full legal name as it should appear on your diploma and on the official records of the University. Form processing typically takes about a week. If approved, you will be given an activity guide\/task assignment prompting you to update your graduation information on the MyBU Student Portal<\/a>.<\/strong> If there are any issues with your application, a representative from your Academic Department will contact you.<\/p>\n

Students officially graduate three times a year \u2013 January, May or August. The official graduation date will be shown on your transcript. There is only one Commencement Ceremony each year that occurs in May, to honor all graduates. Commencement weekend information can be found at the Boston University Commencement website.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n
