MET’s Online Analytics Degrees Score #1 & #2 Rankings from TechGuide
The online Master of Science in Applied Business Analytics offered at Boston University’s Metropolitan College (BU MET), which trains students to harness fluency in data and AI and blend those talents with industry expertise, has been recognized as the #1 degree of its kind by TechGuide’s 2026 Best Online Master’s in Business Analytics Programs.
The online Master of Science in Applied Data Analytics at BU MET, which teaches students to combine complex data mining and analytics tools combined with machine learning approaches, earned the #2 ranking in TechGuide’s Best Online Master’s in Data Analytics Degree Programs for 2026.
TechGuide—which helps students, educators, and institutions make smarter decisions in analytics and computer science—is a service that publishes data-backed rankings, expert faculty insights, curated learning resources, and hosts podcast conversations with educators and tech professionals across the US. Their rankings are based on data gleaned from the Department of Education’s Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System, with the primarily metrics being admissions selectivity, class size and faculty support, financial aid availability, graduation outcomes, and total enrollment.
In 2025, BU MET’s MSABA was ranked #25 by TechGuide, who credit the climb to “continued improvement and sustained academic strength [and] continued excellence and impact in preparing students for success in [a]nalytics careers.”
