The Certificate Program in Cheese Studies offered by BU MET was recently featured on WCVB Channel 5’s Chronicle, as part of a survey of cheese education opportunities in and around Boston.
Describing the class, course instructor Kimi Ceridon (MET’15) said, “It’s got a little bit of science; it’s got a little bit of history; it’s got a little bit of farming in there.”
Her fellow instructor, David Robinson—the international cheese buyer at the esteemed Formaggio Kitchen, who handles the tasting portion of the class—chimed in, “When we talk about tasting, with the BU course, with the cheese course, what we’re talking about is learning the different styles, the different types, the flavors that go along with that.”
