City Planning Alum Lauded for Influence, Impact
Ayako Maruyama (MET’13) is dedicated to creating practical solutions to social and civic challenges, having helped design the world’s first Social Emergency Response Center in early 2017. An alum of the Master of City Planning program, Maruyama has been recognized for her efforts and their impact by WBUR, who named her to their ARTery 25 list, which acknowledges millennials of color making a positive difference in the Boston area.
