Reds Can Sparkle Too! Free Virtual Wine Tasting

The vast majority of sparkling wines are white, but sparkling reds are certainly fun to drink. We'll taste 3 examples of dry sparkling reds during this session and discuss how their taste profiles are connected to the method of production, choice of grape varieties, and the regional characteristics where the grapes are grown. We'll also discuss their use in food pairing. Ara Sarkissian, a Certified Wine Educator and core instructor at Boston University Elizabeth Bishop Wine Resource Center, will lead this fun tasting of sparkling wines. Attendees will be able to purchase the wines from a local wine shop.
