MET Profs Unpack Global Business Dynamics in New Book

A pair of Metropolitan College professors shine a spotlight on what it takes for companies to thrive in the global marketplace in their new book, Business Dynamics in North America. Associate Professor of the Practice of Administrative Sciences Vladimir Zlatev and Dr. Rajagopal examine the impact NAFTA has had on international commerce in the region in the book, which follows up on the lessons and research the pair primed in teaching Doing Business in North America—a required course in MET’s Supply Chain Management master’s with concentration in Global Business program.

MET Health Informatics Faculty Key Organizers of ICIW 2014

On September 20, ICIW 2014: the Fifth Immunoinformatics and Computational Immunology Workshop was held in Newport Beach, California, on the theme “Bridging Immunology and Computer Science.” The organizing committee of the international workshop included three faculty involved with MET’s Health Informatics program: Associate Dean Lou Chitkushev, director of Health Informatics; Adjunct Professor of Computer Science Vladimir Brusic, associate director of Health Informatics; and Assistant Professor Guanglan Zhang, faculty coordinator of Health Informatics.
