MET Graduate Admission Deferral Request Form

Admitted students may defer their admission for up to one full year from their term of admission (i.e. Fall 2024 admitted students can defer to Spring, Summer, or Fall 2025).

Deferral requests for applicants admitted to a 2024 entry term must be received no later than October 31, 2024. International students who defer will be required to submit updated international student documentation (including financial support). Students will be notified by the BU MET when this documentation becomes necessary.

PLEASE NOTE: Students that have not been offered admission are not eligible for deferral.
