MET Graduate Admission Deferral Request Form

Admitted students may defer their admission for up to one full year from their term of admission (i.e. Fall 2022 admitted students can defer to Spring, Summer, or Fall 2023).

Only students that have accepted their offer of admission are eligible to defer. BU MET does not require students to submit an enrollment deposit when accepting their offer of admission.

International students who defer will be required to submit updated international student documentation (including financial support). Students will be notified by the BU MET when this documentation becomes necessary.

PLEASE NOTE: Students that have not been offered admission are not eligible for deferral.
