FIFA World Cup Fever at Gillette Stadium
Boston will host seven matches of the 2026 FIFA World Cup™, held at Gillette Stadium—referred to by FIFA as “Boston Stadium.” Matches run from June 13th through July 9th and fans can look forward to seeing powerhouse teams like England, France, Norway, Ghana, Morocco, and Scotland compete on New England turf.
Sail Boston 2026: Tall Ships Take Over the Harbor
From July 11–16, 2026, dozens of magnificent tall ships from more than 25 countries will glide into Boston Harbor as part of Sail Boston® 2026 and the worldwide Sail250® celebration. Visitors can enjoy the Grand Parade of Sail, public ship tours, fireworks, and waterfront festivities at iconic viewing spots like the Seaport District, East Boston, the North End, and Charlestown.
America 250: Celebrating the Nation’s Semiquincentennial
As the birthplace of the American Revolution, Boston will be at the heart of the 250th anniversary of the United States. Massachusetts will mark this milestone with major celebrations throughout the year, including Evacuation Day 250, the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular, and events connected to the statewide Massachusetts 250 initiative.
