Kyna Hamill specializes in Baroque theatricality, theatre and visual culture, and popular entertainment. Dr. Hamill’s current research project examines the visual legacy of the print artist Jacques Callot (1592-1635) in theatrical design, training, and representation of the Commedia dell’arte tradition.
George Vahamikos’s seminars have explored what lurks beneath the bed or out on the moors, ranging from Gothic novels to contemporary horror films. He has an abiding fascination with the horror genre and its long connections with social unrest.
Brian Walsh specializes in scholarship on Shakespearean drama, English Renaissance literature, and film adaptations of Shakespeare, but he is committed to teaching writing, research, and great works of film and literature from a range of time periods and cultures across the globe.
