D.) is Full Professor of Legal Philosophy at the Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Madrid (UAM). He is the author of 9 books (<em>Recordar es pol\u00edtico. Una desmemoria democr\u00e1tica,<\/em> Alianza, Madrid, 2024, is his latest) and has published extensively on bioethics and medical law as well as human rights, animal rights, the morality of sex, gender and feminism. His works have appeared in The American Journal of Bioethics, The Journal of Clinical Ethics, The Journal of Medicine and Philosophy, among others.
