This program takes place at the <em>Instituto Internacional.\u00a0<\/em><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Students enroll in <strong>two<\/strong> courses. Their preparation and background in Spanish will determine placement in different levels from intensive Spanish language courses to liberal arts courses that introduce students to topics such as Spanish history, culture, art, literature, etc.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">\u00a0Course offerings vary each Summer Term.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4><b>Possible Summer Term 2026 Courses (course offerings vary each year):\u00a0<\/b><\/h4>\n<ul><\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>CAS LS 212 Spanish Language: Fourth Semester Spanish (tentative, pending)<\/li>\n<li>CAS LS 312 Spanish through Cultural Destinations: Paseando por Madrid <strong>(Spanish language) <\/strong>(tentative, pending)<\/li>\n<li>CAS LS 350 Introduction to Analysis of Hispanic Texts: Exploring Madrid through Literature <strong>(Spanish literature)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>CAS AH 364 Art and Architecture in Madrid: 1561 &#8211; Today (taught in<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>Spanish<\/strong>)<\/li>\n<li>RN 327\/HI 327\/JS 357 Sephardic Jewish History (taught in <strong>English<\/strong>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span>Electives taught in\u00a0<\/span><strong>Spanish\u00a0<\/strong><span>are only open to those students who have completed\/are currently enrolled in Spanish language level 300 and above. Electives taught in <\/span><strong>English\u00a0<\/strong><span>are geared towards students in lower levels of Spanish.
