fullscreen *; encrypted-media *\" sandbox=\"allow-forms allow-same-origin allow-scripts allow-top-navigation allow-pointer-lock allow-popups allow-modals allow-orientation-lock allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox allow-presentation allow-top-navigation-by-user-activation\" frameborder=\"0\" title=\"Kaltura Player\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Placements are contingent upon a student\u2019s past experience, language abilities, and available opportunities in any given semester, so flexibility is essential.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Course numbers depend on the fields of specialization in which the students complete their internship and the nature of the internship work. <strong> <\/strong><strong>The following course numbers are open to students who complete an internship in Spanish (having completed five semesters of Spanish or equivalent):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>CAS AH 505 Internship in the Arts\/Architecture<\/li>\n<li>CAS EC 497 Internship in Business\/Economics<\/li>\n<li>CAS PO 401 Internship in Politics<\/li>\n<li>CAS PO 403 Internship in Comparative Law<\/li>\n<li>CAS PO 405\/IR 455 Internship in International Organizations<\/li>\n<li>COM CM 471 Internship in Advertising\/Public Relations<\/li>\n<li>COM FT 493\/494 Internship in Film\/Television<\/li>\n<li>COM JO 411 Internship in Journalism<\/li>\n<li>CAS CS 219 Internship in Information Technology<\/li>\n<li>SHA HF 390 Field Placement in Hospitality Administration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>NEW: Students (with at least two semesters of Spanish or equivalent) can opt to complete an internship in English in the following concentrations:<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-US\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\"><wbr \/>Hospitality<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Journalism<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Marketing<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Business<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Tourism<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Education\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"m_-3113102722822894758EUSAHeading1\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><\/span><strong>HUB SA 330: The academic component of the internship consists of the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"m_-3113102722822894758EUSAHeading1\">The internship itself, including supervisor\u2019s evaluation<\/li>\n<li class=\"m_-3113102722822894758EUSAHeading1\">Participation in the internship seminar, including\u00a0ePortfolio<\/li>\n<li class=\"m_-3113102722822894758EUSAHeading1\">A highly structured, mid-term oral briefing<\/li>\n<li class=\"m_-3113102722822894758EUSAHeading1\">Assigned readings<\/li>\n<li class=\"m_-3113102722822894758EUSAHeading1\">A final research paper relating to professional field of internship placement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Completing the Study Abroad Internship Course HUB SA 330 allows students to fulfill a Hub unit in the following area: <strong>The Individual in Community<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul><\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;
