Today is Giving Day!
This year, our department’s goal is to raise $2,000 for graduate student research and travel. Our students have requested approximately $13,000 in funding for research and conference travel this year, of which the department was only able to grant about $11,000. Rising costs for travel, accommodations, and conference registration mean that this support often falls short.
