BU Common<\/a><\/strong> is a Windows virtual computer environment for the BU Community, offering the same experience from home, the BU Common @ Mugar, and other locations around campus.<\/p>\n Using your existing BU login, access both common and specialized applications from anywhere, at any time, even when computer labs or libraries are inaccessible<\/strong>. Applications only available on Windows can be used seamlessly on other platforms, including Macs or mobile devices.<\/p>\n Assistance for library or personal computers is available at the IT Help Desk located on the first floor of Mugar Library. Additionally, help can be obtained via the IS&T website<\/a>.<\/p>\n Computers in the Mugar, Pardee Management, Pickering Educational Resources, Science & Engineering, and Stone Science Library are connected to the campus MyPrint<\/a> network. You can also print from your laptop<\/a> using a web browser. Color printing is available on the first, second, and third floors of Mugar at $0.25 per page using Convenience Points<\/a>.<\/p>\n You can release print jobs at MyPrint stations<\/a> located in the libraries, including those at the Print Center desk. The Print Center desk at Mugar is open from 8 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday.<\/p>\n Many of the MyPrint stations in Mugar<\/a> have Scan to Email\/Cloud Storage<\/a> functionality. This service allows you to scan and save files to your OneDrive or Google cloud storage.<\/p>\n Alternatively, scanning apps (such as Adobe Scan<\/a>) are available for your personal mobile device.<\/p>\n BU Libraries offers Scanning & Digital Delivery Services<\/a> to support research and instruction.
