Instruction covers the use of electronic resources, bibliographic tools such as RefWorks, and information literacy questions of source authority and reliability. Collaborative projects provide opportunities for librarians to work with faculty to tailor instruction to the specific needs of the class.<\/div>\n<div class=\"content-block list\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/library\/services\/reserves\/place-items-on-reserve\/\">Reserve form<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><a title=\"Reserve\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/library\/services\/reserves\/\">Reserves<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>Faculty may place materials on reserve at the Mugar, Music, Management, Science &amp; Engineering, and Education Libraries for the use of students enrolled in their classes. Items from the libraries&#8217; collections as well as personal copies of such material as books, syllabi, lecture notes, articles, or sample exams may be designated for reserve. Our eJournal collections currently number in the tens of thousands. You can request an item to be purchased by using the form, or by contacting the selector for a particular subject.<\/div>\n<div class=\"content-block list\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/library\/services\/scan-and-photocopy\/\">Guidelines and Contacts<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/tech\/services\/cccs\/printing\/myprint\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">MyPrint System<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><a title=\"Scan, Photocopy, and Print\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/library\/services\/\">Scan, Photocopy, and Print<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>Scanners, photocopiers, and a printer networked to the MyPrint system are available in Mugar and most branches. Scanning to USB flash drive or email message is free of charge. The fee for photocopying is .10 cents per page, payable by cash or Convenience Points. <\/div>\n<div class=\"content-block list\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/library\/education\/collection\/#fines\">Circulation Guidelines<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/library\/services\/ill\/blc-cards\/\">Apply for a Consortium Card<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/library\/services\/ill\/\">Interlibrary Loan<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/library\/services\/for-faculty\/authorization-letters\/\">Authorization letters<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><a title=\"Borrowing\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/library\/services\/\">Borrowing<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>BU Faculty may check out most BU library materials for 19 weeks. Loans may be renewed twice, unless the item is recalled by another patron.
