Pardee Management Library"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Frederick S. Pardee Management Library is named for its donor, Frederick S. Pardee, a recipient of undergraduate and graduate degrees from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/questrom\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Boston University Questrom School of Business<\/a>. The library, opened in March 1997, is an important component in the educational program in the <span>Questrom School of Business<\/span>. Located on the west end of the second and third floors of the Rafik B. Hariri Building, the library provides study space, collaborative areas, and team rooms for group study.<\/p>\n<p>The mission of the Frederick S. Pardee Management Library is to provide information resources and services in business and management in support of Boston University <span>Questrom School of Business<\/span>\u00a0and Boston University research and instructional programs in these areas. The library provides an extensive collection of online and print resources in business and management- related subjects and offers information and instructional services in order to maximize the use of these materials and resources. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/library\/research\/collections\/collection-development\/cdmgmt\/\">The Management Collection Development Policy<\/a> describes, in greater detail, the scope of the library collection. \u00a0The on-site collection consists of approximately 17,000 volumes; 50,000 volumes are in off-site storage and generally available within two business days.<\/p>\n<p>A description of collection development and links to collections policies for other subjects are available <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/library\/research\/collections\/collection-development\/\">here. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>The library&#8217;s resources are supplemented by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/library\/mugar-memorial\/\">Mugar Memorial Library&#8217;s<\/a> extensive research collection in the social sciences and humanities.
