Learn more about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/policies\/libraries-code-of-conduct\/\">BU Libraries\u2019 Visitor Policy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Borrowing Materials<\/h2>\n<p>Alumni may request books and other circulating materials.<\/p>\n<p>If you need an alumni card, you can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/alumni\/services\/your-bu-profile\/\">obtain one here<\/a>. If you have an active alumni card, follow these steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>For first-time borrowers, User Services staff will need to update your library account. Visit us in person or reach out via email at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:ask@bu.edu\">ask@bu.edu<\/a>\u00a0to get started.<\/li>\n<li>Request <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/library\/find-access\/borrowing\/bu-libraries-2-go\/\">BU Libraries 2 Go<\/a> items by emailing the following details to <a href=\"mailto:ask@bu.edu\">ask@bu.edu<\/a>: Title, Author, and your BU username\/email address. If possible, please include the item record permalink from BU Libraries Search.<\/li>\n<li>You will receive an email notification when items are available for pickup.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Access to Online Databases<\/h2>\n<p>If you graduated prior to or in 2011, and don\u2019t have an @bu.edu account, you will need to create a new account here.
