BU alumni may request items via <a href=\"mailto:ask@bu.edu\">ask@bu.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"request-buls\">Request through BU Libraries Search<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Find your book(s) in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/library\/search\">BU Libraries Search<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Sign in<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-61888 bulib-howto-img\" alt=\"image highlighting option click sign in to see request options\" src=\"\/library\/files\/2020\/08\/bul2go_fullrecord_signin_highlight.png\" height=\"136\" width=\"306\" \/><\/li>\n<li>When items are available, the request button will appear<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-61890 bulib-howto-img\" alt=\"image highlighting request button\" src=\"\/library\/files\/2020\/08\/bul2go_request_options_button_highlight.png\" height=\"218\" width=\"306\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Complete optional fields if necessary and click request to submit<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-61891 bulib-howto-img\" alt=\"image of request form fields\" src=\"\/library\/files\/2020\/08\/bul2go_request_form.png\" height=\"177\" width=\"438\" \/><\/li>\n<li>You\u2019ll see immediate confirmation that your request was submitted<\/li>\n<li>You&#8217;ll receive a notification to your BU email confirming your loan with pickup details<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 id=\"picking-up\">Request through AskALibrarian<\/h3>\n<p><span>BU Alumni: BUL2go items may be requested by emailing the following details to <a href=\"mailto:ask@bu.edu\">ask@bu.edu<\/a>: Title, Author, and your BU username\/email address. If possible, please include the item record permalink from BU Libraries Search. You will receive an email notification when items are available for pickup.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>If you have not previously registered with BU Libraries as an Alumni, additional steps will be necessary to complete your account setup.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Picking Up<\/h3>\n<p>Check your Loan Receipt email for pick-up location and instructions. Items will be held for 5 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/library\/about\/hours\/\">Libraries business days<\/a>, beginning the day after receiving the email confirmation.
