Funding available for Humanities-related library materials
The Boston University Center for the Humanities and BU Libraries are partnering to create a new streamlined library acquisitions process. Students and faculty can now suggest resources directly to the library acquisitions staff for humanities-related library materials.
The Center for the Humanities has several funds for purchasing new library materials to support Humanities research at BU. Faculty, staff, undergraduate, and graduate students are welcome to request purchases from the following funds:
- Class of 1933 Humanities Book Fund: no restrictions
- Ted Kyrios Memorial Book Fund: restricted to writings in the areas of immigration, ethnic studies, and Greek literature (if possible)
- Kenneth Setton Library Fund: restricted to writings in the areas of Greek and Latin Classics and the Medieval and Renaissance (political and diplomatic) history of Europe
