Today's Activity: Dry Ice Exploration

Description: Today we introduced the girls to Dry Ice and its properties. A couple of the girls had worked with dry ice in the past and shared their ideas with some of the other girls.

For the first exercise, we had them compare and contrast the physical properties of dry ice and regular ice. They shared what they observed with the rest of the class and also noted this in their journals.

Next, we had them fill their cups up with water. They were amazed with the results and started to explore their mixture.

For a tasty treat, we then added the dry ice into cups with apple juice and made apple cider. The girls thought it was delicious and are excited to see what we have in store for them next week!
