Graphic Novel and Webcomic Reads!

Here are awesome graphic novel and webcomic reads that we strongly recommend

1. Purple Hyacinth, Ephemerys, Sophism (13+)

YEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHE okok so if I had to choose one webcomic to read for the rest of my life, it would be Purple Hyacinth. Sophism (the artist/co-author) and Ephemerys (main author) make PH so amazing istg. The art and music is fabulous, the story is captivating and addictive, and everything is just put together so wonderfully. PH has things for everyone. Do you like ships? Great, there are PLENTY. Do you like mystery? This is the most popular mystery webtoon on the website. There is definitely a good mystery here. Do you like pretty people? The people are pretty dw. Anyways, if you don’t like this series then I will give you 5 dollars (given that you can find me ofc I’m not putting 5 dollars up on Ebay or something). I am THAT confident. -Sophia

Chapter count: 50

2. How to Become a Dragon, eon (8+)

This is an amazing story about learning how to overcome your fears, forgiveness, and perseverance. The art style is very cute and incorporates a lot of interesting Korean folktales. -Sophia

Chapter count: 15

3. Omniscient Reader (series), Singshong 싱숑 (13+)

Oh okay so this one is ALSO absolutely amazing. Not only is the concept of the story something that I have never heard about before, but it is also written SO well. The characters are very easy to get attached to and the action around every corner keeps the reader on their toes. -Sophia

Chpater count: 551

4. Murder but That's Okay, Sophism (13+)

Despite the name, MbTO is actually a short comedy! It is written and drawn by the same artist as Purple Hyacinth, and it is pretty much a mild satire towards the PH fandom and people who read mysteries in general haha. It’s all very funny and entertaining to read -Sophia

Chapter count: 12

5. New Kid (series), Jerry Craft (11+)

This series brings on a (you guessed right) new kid, who goes to a school and faces the pressure of being a (you guessed it again) new kid. This story follows his hobbies and struggles, making it a great read. -Ashley

Chapter count: 14
