Here are thrilling mystery reads that we strongly reccomend

1. Purple Hyacinth (webcomic), Ephemerys, Sophism(13+)

One of my favorite reads here we go >:) Specifically talking about the mystery in this series, the mystery of The Phantom Scythe is a prevalent part of everyone's life in PH, which gives the mystery a sense of importance that exceeds personal desire. The way the mystery in PH is executed is also very impressive. It always wants the reader looking for more ;)

Chapter count:50 (Season 1)

2. And Then There Were None, Agatha Christie(13+)

This is one of my favorite books. The mysteries and plot twists are to die for (I mean it is a murder mystery-). If you are worried about the gruesome side of people dropping dead, no worries. Agatha Christie's writing style takes away from the unsettling aspects of death and makes the reader focus on the mystery at hand :) -Sophia

3. The Inheritance Games (series), Jennifer Lynn Barnes(13+)

This series is one that will not allow you to put the book down until you have finished it and just realized that you finished it. It is what I would consider the most intricately weaved together tale, where a love story mixes with a mystery - and death. -Ashley

Word count:99,600

4. Murder on the Orient Express, Hercule Poirot series, Agatha Christie(13+)

Another one of my favorite Agatha Christie books! As always, there is always a surprising, but also logical solution to the mystery that makes you think “Oh my god he’s right.” but in a, umm, astonished way that makes you marvel at the writing. If you are worried about the gruesome side of people dropping dead, no worries. Agatha Christie's writing style takes away from the unsettling aspects of death and makes the reader focus on the mystery at hand :) -Sophia

Word count:58,000

5. The Westing Game, Ellen Raskin(11+)

This story is the one book that I have read that has adults as some of the main characters, and is still a young adult book. This peculiarity enhances the story’s mystery, and allows for dramatic conflicts and resolutions between characters. -Ashley
