Here are some historical fiction books that we really enjoy!
1. Miss. Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children (series), Ransom Riggs (13+)
This series is one of my absolute favorites, as it includes the perfect mix of history, mystery, and love. It was a truly amazing tale. -Ashley
Word count:84,000
2. A Night Divided, Jennifer A. Nielsen (8+)
This book gives interesting insight to what life might have been like living with (and trying to escape) the Berlin Wall. Overall I really reccommend this book, especially if you are interested in WW2, 19th century, etc. -Sophia
Word count:71,500
3. Purple Hyacinth, Sophism and Ephemerys(13+)
HAH okay so this is one of my favorite reads of all time. It takes place in fictional 1920’s-esque Canada. The storytelling, music, and art is so amazing. This is the longest series that I have consistently been keeping up to date on without any breaks (even during between-season hiatuses)! -Sophia
Okokok so this is ALSO another one of my favorite reads. The TGCF series includes remarkable characters who are just *chefs kiss*. They are so complex and interesting and omg just read it already -_- -Sophia
