China has food of all different textures, tastes, and shapes. Eating in China is an experience, and you’ll find many old ladies who would love to share their stories over a home-cooked meal. Food in China is a way of bonding and showing love, and there is such a large variety of amazing tastes that you will never run out of things to try.
There are food stands and restaurants on every corner, and they are all cheap, especially considering that $1 USD = $6.47 Chinese Yuan. My personal favorite foods include lamb skewers from XinJiang, Peking Duck from Beijing, mooncakes, dragon’s beard, any kind of stir fry, and hot pot.
