Jungkook lives with his mother, stepfather, and stepbrother. His family is not poor, as his stepfather has plenty of money. His stepbrother hits him, though no one defends him. His stepfather acts like he doesn't exist. With the lack of affection at home, Jungkook relies on his hyungs(hyungs being a word for "older brother"). He is most connected to Yoongi.
Jungkook runs away from his family at 17. He goes to play piano, and Yoongi finds him and helps him play better. A few days after this, Jungkook goes and picks a fight. This implies that he may be depressed, as he is looking to be punished. He starts dissociating from himself, feeling like he was Yoongi. His life is swaying between the polar opposites of life.
