Hello World!

About Me...

Hopes and Dreams

"What do you want to be when you grow up?" What a cliche question that we have all heard far too many times, and at this age, half of us have absolutely no clue. Those of you with enough of an image of that future you to be able to shoot for the stars, you all are quite lucky.

I am somewhere in between the too, I have an idea of what I want to be and do, but I don't know how to reach it or even prepare for it.

I occasionally think I want to become a basketball player, and realize that I don't actually want that as my serious job, it is better as a fun sport to me.

Other times, I wonder how I would succeed in a scientific profession or a computer technology/ engineering profession.

But most of the time, actually all the time, I wish to be on the radio. I want to be a muscian and if I can make it big, is my biggest question. I've wanted this since I saw Hannah Montana, which some of you might think is corny, but it inspired me. I am currently taking a little piano class and a guitar class at the Yawkey Boys and Girls Club of Roxbury, but that started yesterday. Before that, I would dabble on the guitar and piano and learn songs from youtube. For guitar, once I got down basic chords and their names, I was able to go and search chords and play some songs from that. I am currently working on reading treble cleff so I can become a better muscian, and this camp is helping me develop skills for my second goal.

This is an example of what I use:

To better my experience musically, I have performed alone in all school assembly multiple times and I have performed with the middle school a capella group with solos.

The head of the Middle School, John Gifford, who was also my advisor, offered me the opportunity to perform at out 8th Grade graduation.

Even though I have goals, they often feel unobtainable, but once I get in the zone, I work my butt off to get better because I have determination; something I learned from my mom.
