Lectures in Criticism Returns!

by Cole Parker

After the recent hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Lectures in Criticism proudly returns for its 38th year of bringing leading scholars in the humanities to Boston University and the wider Boston public. As a part of this return, Lectures in Criticism is now presented by the BU Center for the Humanities, and is recommencing with two lectures each year, one by a distinguished member of the BU faculty, and one by a notable external scholar.

In 2022-2023, Lectures in Criticism is pleased to present Juliet Floyd, professor of philosophy at Boston University, in the fall, and Tiya Miles, Michael Garvey Professor of History at Harvard and Radcliffe Alumnae Professor at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study, in the spring. Dr. Miles will be introduced by Ibram X. Kendi.

More information can be found on the 2022-23 lectures’ page.
