Previously, Katie was a postdoctoral fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and received her PhD in Human Development and Quantitative Methodology from the University of Maryland in 2016. She completed her PhD in Psychology at the University of York, UK, in 2017 which investigated the development of intergroup bias.
