She teaches Environmental Law, <\/span><span class=\"s3\">Corporations,<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> Law and Capitalism, and<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> <\/span><span class=\"s3\">a seminar on climate risk and <\/span><span class=\"s3\">financial\u00a0institutions<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s3\">Professor Condon is an expert on climate change, financial risk, and regulation.<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> <\/span><span class=\"s3\">Her scholarship has been included in collections of the best articles of the year for several fields, including environmental law, corporate law, and securities law. <\/span><span class=\"s4\">In 202<\/span><span class=\"s4\">5<\/span><span class=\"s4\">, the American Law Institute named <\/span><span class=\"s4\">Condon<\/span><span class=\"s4\"> a recipient of its Early Career Scholars Medal, which is awarded every other year to \u201ctwo outstanding early-career law professors whose work is relevant to public policy and has the potential to influence improvements in the law.\u201d<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> <\/span><span class=\"s3\">In 2023, Professor Condon joined the United Nations Principles of Responsible Investment Academ<\/span><span class=\"s3\">ic<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> Network Advisory Committee.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s3\">Professor Condon\u2019s scholarship has appeared or is forthcoming in leading legal journals including the\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s5\"><em>UC Davis Law Review<\/em>, <\/span><span class=\"s3\">the<\/span><span class=\"s5\">\u00a0<em>Washington Law Review<\/em><\/span><span class=\"s3\">, and the <\/span><em><span class=\"s5\">Utah Law Review<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s3\">. She has also written for interdisciplinary publications including<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> <\/span><em><span class=\"s5\">Finance &amp; Society<\/span><span class=\"s3\">, <\/span><span class=\"s3\"><\/span><span class=\"s5\">NOMOS<\/span><span class=\"s3\">,<\/span><span class=\"s3\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s5\">Land Use Policy<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s3\">\u00a0and the\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s5\"><em>Review of Environmental Economics and Polic<\/em>y<\/span><span class=\"s3\">.<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> Her writing <\/span><span class=\"s3\">and commentary<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> <\/span><span class=\"s3\">have<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> been featured in<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> popular media outlets including the <\/span><em><span class=\"s5\">New York Times<\/span><span class=\"s3\">, <\/span><span class=\"s5\">Bloomberg<\/span><span class=\"s3\">, <\/span><span class=\"s5\">NPR<\/span><span class=\"s3\">, <\/span><span class=\"s5\">Politico<\/span><span class=\"s3\">, <\/span><span class=\"s5\">The<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> <\/span><span class=\"s5\">Atlantic<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s3\"> and <\/span><em><span class=\"s5\">The<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> <\/span><span class=\"s5\">New Republic<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s3\">. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s3\">Before joining BU Law, Professor Condon was an attorney at New York University School of Law\u2019s Institute for Policy Integrity, where she participated in litigation against federal regulatory rollbacks. She clerked for Judge Jane Kelly of the 8th US Circuit Court of Appeals and was a postdoctoral fellow with the Earth Institute at Columbia University. Professor Condon holds a JD from Harvard Law School, an MALD from Tufts University\u2019s Fletcher School, and a BS in Earth and Environmental Engineering from Columbia University.
