{"id":51801,"date":"2018-07-09T12:26:48","date_gmt":"2018-07-09T16:26:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/law\/?post_type=profile&#038;p=51801"},"modified":"2023-12-20T13:01:11","modified_gmt":"2023-12-20T18:01:11","slug":"brooke-arlington","status":"publish","type":"profile","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/law\/profile\/brooke-arlington\/","title":{"rendered":"Brooke Arlington"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Brooke Arlington<\/strong> received her B.A. <em>magna cum laude<\/em> in psychology from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana.\u00a0 She then moved to Tsu City, Japan to teach at a private English conversation school for one year.\u00a0 She taught students of all ages and abilities and travelled extensively within the country.\u00a0 Upon returning to her hometown in Pennsylvania, she served as an outreach educator for Victims Resource Center, a non-profit crime victim advocacy organization.<\/p>\n<p>She moved to Boston in 2005 to attend New England Law Boston.\u00a0 She graduated <em>cum laude<\/em> and was recognized for her achievements in Disability Law. She received her license to practice in Massachusetts before returning to teaching. She then earned her Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Certificate from Boston Academy of English in 2010. In addition to teaching general ESL and Business English, she tutored international lawyers in Legal English at ESL schools throughout Boston.
