She also teaches Persuasive Writing and the Lawyering Fellows seminar.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Claire is deeply involved in the public interest community at BU Law, serving as the advisor and faculty mentor for the Public Interest Scholars, chairing the Public Service Committee\u00a0and co-advising the Public Interest Law Journal. She was named to the AALS Pro Bono Honor Roll and was awarded the Public Service faculty Award, both in 2024, and she served on the National Advisory Committee for Equal Justice Works from 2023 &#8211; 2025.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Before joining the Lawyering Program, Claire was an Instructor of Legal Writing at Vanderbilt University Law School. Prior to that, she was a Legal Writing Instructor in the Law School\u2019s LL.M. Writing Program. In addition, she has worked for the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands and was an associate at Foley &amp; Lardner in Boston. She also served as a law clerk to Justice Francis X.
