D&#8217;Amato"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span class=\"s2\">Laura D\u2019Amato<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0teaches first-year Lawyering Skills and upper-<\/span><span>level<\/span><span> <\/span><span>Persuasive Writing at B<\/span><span>oston <\/span><span>U<\/span><span>niversity School of<\/span><span> Law. She <\/span><span>received <\/span><span>the <\/span><span>Michael Melton Award for Excellence in Teaching<\/span><span> in 2023 and <\/span><span>completed a two-year rotation as <\/span><span>D<\/span><span>irector of the Lawyering Program<\/span><span> in 2024<\/span><span>. <\/span><span>Before<\/span><span> joining BU Law, Laura was a litigation partner at Goulston &amp; Storrs PC, where she focused her practice on fiduciary litigation, employment disputes, professional malpractice claims, and real estate matters. She was also deeply involved in the firm\u2019s associate recruiting, professional development and\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s3\">pro bono<\/span><span>\u00a0programs, including the Discovering Justice\/Citizens Schools Mock Trial Program.
