Rebecca \u201cBecky\u201d Simmons, of Arlington, has been elected principal of the firm Hamilton Brook Smith Reynolds.<\/p>\n

Simmons has a doctorate in chemistry from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and French from Boston College. She received her Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law. Simmons has been the recipient of several awards and honors, including the Eli Lilly Organic Chemistry Fellowship, Fulbright Foreign Scholarship, Gabelli Presidential Scholarship and the IBM Thomas J. Watson Memorial Scholarship Award. She has also been named an Edward F. Hennessey Scholar and a Robert B. Woodward Fellow.<\/p>\n
