Law AMS provides all School of Law audiovisual and media services, including but not limited to lecture recording, recording distribution, lecture and event setup and support, digital signage, video conferencing, and teleconferencing. We also administer all classroom and courtroom technology and jointly administer Law\u2019s computer labs along with IS&T.<\/p>\n

For all event and recording requests, please email us at lawav@bu.edu<\/a>. Please submit any requests at least one business day in advance; we cannot guarantee recordings or support for same day requests.<\/span><\/p>\n

To reserve a classroom or other space, please follow the directions listed in the Room Reservation Procedure<\/a>.

Classrooms<\/h4>
School of Law classrooms are fully set up for complete lecture capture, including built-in HD cameras and teaching tables equipped with touchscreen monitors and computer audio\/video capture hardware. They feature built-in projectors and projection screens, lapel microphones, a podium microphone, and ceiling microphones for full capture of both the lecturer and the students\u2019 questions and responses. Law AMS also has online video conferencing hardware, connections for laptops, and assisted listening devices in most classrooms. The classroom PCs and any computers plugged into the room system are recorded when the system is engaged, including when the projector is muted. Please note that accessing personal emails\/accounts on our computers may show on a recording if the system is on.<\/p>\n

Scheduling Recordings<\/h4>
Please send in all recording requests at least one business day in advance. We cannot guarantee that a recording will be created for requests that are not sent within that window. Law AMS is capable of recording all classrooms in the Law building, using the classrooms\u2019 built-in cameras. For lecture and classroom recordings, Law AMS can record both the room itself and the program audio\/video (which plays from the computer). When requesting for classes to be recorded, please include as much of the following information as possible:<\/p>\n
