The fee waiver request form for the 2026-2027 application cycle will be available on September 1st.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are several options for requesting a fee waiver for your BU Law JD application. A fee waiver can only be granted prior to submitting your application. Please do not submit the form more than once. You will hear back from our office within 5 business days.<\/p>\n

Need-Based Fee Waiver: Received an LSAC Fee Waiver<\/strong><\/p>\n

To request a need-based fee waiver, if you received an LSAC need-based fee waiver, please complete the Fee Waiver Request form and upload the requested document.<\/p>\n

Need-Based Fee Wavier: Did not receive an LSAC Waiver<\/strong><\/p>\n

To request a need-based fee waiver, and you did not receive an LSAC fee waiver, you have two options.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. If you are currently enrolled in an educational institution, please complete the Fee Waiver Request Form and upload the requested document.<\/li>\n
  2. If you are not<\/span> currently a student, please complete the Fee Waiver Request Form. <\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Service-Based Fee Waiver<\/strong><\/p>\n

    It is our policy to grant fee waivers to applicants who are currently in public service programs such as Teach for America, Peace Corps, Americorps\/VISTA, City Year,\u00a0 or the U.S. Armed Forces. Service-based fee waivers are also granted to U.S. military veterans. Please complete the Fee Waiver Request Form and upload the requested document.<\/p>\n

    Merit-Based Fee Waiver<\/strong><\/p>\n

    BU Law offers select candidates merit-based fee waivers through the LSAC Candidate Referral Service (CRS). To request a merit-based fee waiver if you did not receive one through CRS, please complete the Fee Waiver Request Form.<\/p>\n
