BU Law offers several types of application fee waivers.<\/p>\n

To ensure your request is processed correctly, please submit your fee waiver request before<\/span> submitting your application. Application fees are non-refundable and cannot be refunded once paid. Please submit your request only once. Our office will respond to your request within 5 business days.<\/p>\n

Request an Application Fee Waiver<\/a>
\nThe BU Law application fee waiver request form for the current application cycle is available from September 1, 2026 through April 1, 2027.<\/span><\/p>\n

Need-Based Fee Waiver\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you received an LSAC need-based fee waiver:
\nComplete the fee waiver request form and upload documentation confirming your LSAC fee waiver.<\/p>\n

If you did not receive an LSAC Waiver:
\n<\/strong>You have two options.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. If you are currently enrolled in an educational institution, please complete the fee waiver request form and upload the requested document.<\/li>\n
  2. If you are not<\/span> currently a student, please complete the fee waiver request form. <\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Service-Based Fee Waiver<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Complete the fee waiver request form and upload the requested document.<\/p>\n

    It is our policy to grant fee waivers to applicants who are currently<\/span> in public service programs such as Teach for America, Peace Corps, Americorps\/VISTA, City Year,\u00a0 or the U.S. Armed Forces. Service-based fee waivers are also granted to U.S. military veterans.<\/p>\n

    Merit-Based Fee Waiver<\/strong><\/p>\n

    BU Law offers select candidates merit-based fee waivers through the LSAC Candidate Referral Service (CRS). If you did not receive a merit-based fee waiver through CRS, you may request consideration by completing the request form.<\/p>\n
