Students benefit from a broad curriculum that balances tax law theory and its practical application, with plenty of opportunities to specialize in particular areas such as business organizations and transactions, estate planning, wealth management, and international tax.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In addition to rigorous courses at the JD level, the school offers several advanced degrees in tax. Students can earn an <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/law\/academics\/llm-masters-degrees\/taxation\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">LLM in Taxation<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">; people without a law degree can prepare for a career in tax through the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/law\/academics\/llm-masters-degrees\/master-in-the-study-of-tax-law\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Master in the Study of Tax Law program<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">; and for those looking to combine their law degree with advanced tax law studies, the school offers a six- or seven-semester dual <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/law\/academics\/dual-degrees\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">JD\/LLM in Taxation<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.
