Under the supervision and mentorship of our expert clinical faculty, you will serve as primary legal representative and advocate for your clients, engage in complex litigation or transactional law cases, or drive legal reform. BU Law guarantees every interested JD student at least one clinical opportunity during their second or third year.<\/strong><\/p>\n Clinics<\/b> offer students the chance to engage directly with clients or projects under the supervision of a full-time faculty member. Clinics generally feature a small seminar with an 8-to-1 student\/faculty ratio, allowing students to received detailed feedback and reflect as they gain critical lawyering skills. Clinics can be year-long or semester-long.<\/span><\/p>\n Practicums<\/b> provide students with the opportunity to engage with clients and projects under the supervision of a faculty member, who usually works at an offsite placement.
