Rosen (LLB\u201965)<\/strong>, chairman of the Philadelphia-based law firm Spector Gadon Rosen Vinci PC, was selected as a 2023 Pennsylvania Super Lawyer. This marks yet another consecutive year in which Mr. Rosen has received this honor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 id=\"headline-2\" class=\"wp-block-editorial-headline record-block-editorial-headline is-style-emphasis-color\"><strong>1970s<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Michael D. Cutler (JD\u201973)<\/strong> was honored with the Al Horn Award by the legal committee of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws for a career of advancing the cause of justice and supporting prohibition repeal locally and nationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-editorial-aside record-block-editorial-aside has-primary-background\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>Donald P. Edwards (JD\u201973)<\/strong>, founding partner of the Law Office of Don Edwards LLC in Atlanta, Georgia, received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the BU Law chapter of the Black Law Students Association during its 53rd Annual Gala held in April. Don is celebrating 50 years of practice in the areas of personal injury on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants.<\/p>\n<\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stephen M. Politi (JD\u201973, LLM\u201974) <\/strong>retired after 45 years as adjunct professor of state and local taxation at Bentley University. He continues to represent individuals, estates, and businesses, including multistate and multinational corporations, with respect to all aspects of federal, state, and local taxation at the Politi Law Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Harvey Kaplan (JD\u201974)<\/strong> is helping with a petition to rehear en banc in <em>Prado v. Garland<\/em>, an immigration case before the First Circuit Court of Appeals. He is working with New England School of Law Faculty Fellow Jason Giannetti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Judith Nelson Dilday (JD\u201974)<\/strong> has been married to fellow BU Law-graduate <strong>James S. Dilday (JD\u201972)<\/strong> for 50 years. She is currently employed as a freelance actor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Marc Morgenstern (JD\u201975)<\/strong> published <em>The Soul of the Deal: Creative Frameworks for Buying, Selling, and Investing in any Business <\/em>(Rodin Books 2022). Thesis? He learned how to close hundreds of deals by selling encyclopedias door-to-door and following the Grateful Dead. He also serves as the mentor-at-large for the House Fund, UC Berkeley\u2019s $150 million venture fund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sean Coffey (JD\u201976)<\/strong>, a partner at Burns &amp; Levinson, was named among the 2023 Lawdragon Green 500: Leaders in Environmental Law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eric P. Rothenberg (JD\u201976)<\/strong> was recognized by 2023 Massachusetts Super Lawyers. He has been selected every single year since the award\u2019s creation. Only 264 of the 42,635 attorneys registered with the Massachusetts State Bar have been selected to Super Lawyers for all 20 years. (Fantastic Books 2023) is a parody analysis of Plan 9 from Outer Space, a 1959 sci-fi\/ horror film deemed one of the worst movies ever made. While at BU, he wrote the humor column for Comment, the law school student newspaper.<\/p>\n<\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Neal Wolkoff (JD\u201980)<\/strong> joined the board of directors of Abaxx Clearing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>James Holton (JD\u201981, LLM\u201982)<\/strong> has been appointed to the Southwest Florida Water Management District.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Frances Bermanzohn (JD\u201982)<\/strong> joined the Hertz Global Holdings board of directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Arthur Hoffman (JD\u201983)<\/strong> joined Rimon PC as a partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Hon. Lisa A. Peter McShane (JD\u201987)<\/strong> celebrated the five-year anniversary of his appointment to the Connecticut Superior Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Louis DiFronzo (JD\u201988)<\/strong> was elected to the board of directors of Northeast Arc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Louis Hockman (JD\u201988)<\/strong> has been appointed cochair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee of the Montgomery Bar Association. The association will launch a mediation program for civil disputes this spring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Thomas J. Rechen (JD\u201988)<\/strong> received the William R. Davis President\u2019s Award from the Hartford County Bar Association. The President\u2019s Award is given out to a member who has been engaged in the practice of law for more than 10 years, who exemplifies the highest traditions of the legal profession and excellence and civility in their practice, and has performed significant services to the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cheryl Schreiber Lewison (JD\u201988) <\/strong>left Hughes Hubbard &amp; Reed in 1997 to take post-baccalaureate pre-medical classes.
